Item 6 - Draft London Plan 2017 Consultation (E27/18)

Summary    

This paper updates the Executive on the London Councils consultation response to the Draft London Plan 2017.  The London Plan is the spatial development strategy for London. Boroughs’ local development documents must be in general conformity with the London Plan and policy within the Plan must be taken into account when planning decisions are taken in any part of London. The consultation period on the draft London Plan 2017 ends on 2nd March 2018. The response has also been sent individually for comment to the Executive Member for Housing, the Chair of London Councils' Transport and Environment Committee, The Executive Member for Business, Skills and Brexit, The Executive Member for Health, The Executive Member for City Development and the, Conservative Group Lead for Housing.
