Freedom Pass is provided by your local borough councils to give older and disabled Londoners free travel on almost all public transport in London.
You can expect road and bridge closures across central London and public transport will be busier than usual during the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend.
The proposal to extend free concessionary travel within London to all those aged over 60 is a Mayoral proposal. It will be for the Mayor to make an announcement about how and when this proposal will be implemented.

Advice on travelling with your Freedom Pass during the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2012 (27 July – 12 August and 29 August – 9 September)
During the Games, London will operate very differently. With many thousands of visitors expected to attend we advise Freedom Pass holders to think about how they will travel during the Games and be prepared for disruption.
