Item 4 - Policy Developments following Leaders' Committee on 7th June 2016 (E21/6)
Summary:
The meeting of Leaders’ Committee which took place two weeks ago (on 7 June 2016), considered policy papers on a number of significant areas, including:
• Housing
• Business rates
• Health
• Skills
There have been subsequent policy developments as a result of negotiations with both Government and City Hall, and a number of substantial discussions were continuing at the time of despatch of these papers.
This item provides the Executive with the opportunity to hear and consider the very latest progress in these negotiations and thus to shape the policy response.
