Summary
This report updates Leaders on the lobbying activity in relation to the Housing and Planning Bill, which was published on 13th October 2015 and contains a number of new provisions with the potential to have significant impacts on housing in the capital. It also reports announcements in the Spending Review relevant to Housing and sets out developments in the work to explore a voluntary collaborative mechanism for delivering new housing across London.

Leaders’ Committee is asked to:
i. Note the update on the lobbying activity on the Housing and Planning Bill and Housing announcements in the Spending Review.
ii. Note the update on the work to explore a collaborative housing delivery vehicle among boroughs.
