The Corporate Governance Division provides support to London Councils’ committees and handle complaints relating to Access to Information Regulations and Freedom of Information. The Regional Employers team is also part of this service and acts as the regional employer on behalf of the London boroughs, working with unions, providing relevant human resource (HR) information to HR professionals and ensuring they network effectively.
As the General Business Administrative Officer (Apprentice), you will provide general administrative support to various committees and regional employers network meetings; undertake relevant projects and research; maintain information systems including analysis and reports; and undertake job evaluation. The role is located in Southwark Street which is near to London Bridge.
We are looking for someone who has:
- good written and oral communication skills;
- good organisational and relationship skills
- experience in using Microsoft software applications (including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel);
- a commitment to equal opportunities.
