A message from John O'Brien, chief executive of London Councils:
It is with regret that we have needed cancel this year’s London Councils Summit on 23rd November.
Given that a General Election will now be taking place only a couple of weeks later, it is highly likely that many of you will want to prioritise work supporting various campaigns and candidates via canvassing etc. The fact that the event is on a Saturday during the day does, of course, only serve to exacerbate the direct nature of that clash.
We were really looking forward to welcoming you to the event and saddened that it will not take place this year. We look forward to seeing you at the Summit in future.
