What do I need to do to renew my Disabled Person's Freedom Pass?
Your local borough may decide that they need to re-assess your eligibility for the scheme. Where this is the case, they will contact you in the months before your Disabled Person's Freedom Pass is due to expire. Some boroughs started doing this from April 2019. Please respond to any letters from your local borough regarding your Disabled Person's Freedom Pass.
If you remain eligible for the scheme your renewed Disabled Person's Freedom Pass will be posted to your home address between February – March 2020. If you have not received your renewed Disabled Person's Freedom Pass please email [email protected] or telephone 0300 330 1433 and the team will be happy to help you.
My Freedom Pass has stopped working
Your Freedom Pass may be stopped if you do not respond to letters from your borough regarding your continued eligibility for the scheme. If your Disabled Person's Freedom Pass has been stopped please contact your local borough to discuss the renewal of your pass.
If you are no longer eligible for the Freedom Pass scheme your pass may be stopped before the card's expiry date.
My address has changed since I received my last pass
If your address has changed please contact your new local borough to discuss the renewal of your Disabled Person's Freedom Pass.
What should I do with my existing pass?
Once you have your new pass you should start using it straight away and destroy your old one as it will no longer work. Do not return your current pass.
