London Councils' work in this area includes ensuring that pan-London initiatives reflect local needs and working with the Violence Against Women and Girls [VAWG] Board and MOPAC to take forward the London VAWG Strategy, including the implementation of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.

During the 2017-2022 grants cycle, the programme supported 

Over 38,000 people accessing advice, counselling and outreach support

Over 127,000 accessing support via the helpline or through co-ordinated access to refuge provision

Over 2000 supported by a specialist refuge accommodation and outreach service
