Recognising that many London boroughs have already produced or are well on our way to developing model template risk assessments, the information supplied provides a range of high quality risk assessments that you can use to develop or improve your current risk assessments.
These include corporate based risk assessments for different workplace situations. An introductory document has also been provided.

Risk Assessment Process
Some councils have produced flow charts and diagrams to support this. The attached powerpoint risk assessment framework and process suggest a model which can be adapted according to local requirements.

Individual Risk Assessments
Individual Risk Assessment FAQs and sample documents are provided. There was a preference for a model individual RA based on a combination of Enfield’s work together with the form used by Camden/ Redbridge/ Hammersmith & Fulham.
There seems to be a split though across London with some doing a prioritisation and risk score for certain groups and others keeping a simpler format with no score or a simple Low/ Medium/ High risk level assessment. We have provided different individual risk assessments from London boroughs.

Risk Assessment Skills Sessions
Some councils are further along on this than others. RB Kensington & Chelsea have recently been running Teams sessions for managers. Attached is a useful coaching questions tool, adapted from the NHS as a good model to help managers undertaking individual risk assessments.

Resilience
Tools to support wellbeing and resilience are being or have been developed. Hammersmith and Fulham have shared their wellbeing briefing for senior managers. LB Barking & Dagenham have a presentation focusing on physical wellbeing particularly for homeworkers.
