Summary
This report summarises the background to work undertaken by the Association of London Directors of Children’s Services and NHS England (London Region) to review the use of secure children’s homes for London’s children and young people and sets out the proposed way forward for ensuring strengthened arrangements in the future. The report describes related work in progress exploring options for joint arrangements in respect of procuring, commissioning or directly providing placements for London’s children with the most complex needs.
