Nominees Shortlisted for the 2018 Apprenticeship Awards

Thank you to all the boroughs that submitted nominations to the 2018 London Borough Apprenticeship Awards. We received a high number of excellent quality entries.

The following boroughs have been shortlisted:

Category 1 - Best contribution by a new apprentice

  • Hannah Cambridge- Bexley
  • Khazida Khanom- Camden
  • Thaddaeus Brown- Hackney
  • Apprentice- Merton
  • Rose Thomson- Southwark
  • Lucy Smith- Sutton

Category 2 – Best progression by an apprentice

  • Bijal Bhudia- Brent
  • Stephanie Grossett- Croydon
  • Claire Beswick- Southwark
  • Apprentice- Sutton

Category 3- Best Apprentice working in the Supply Chain

  • Muhsana Khatun- Camden
  • Aaron Lee- Croydon
  • Sarah Chipperfield- Tower Hamlets

Category 4 - Best manager or mentor

  • Chika Dinaka- Croydon
  • John Stanton- Ealing
  • John Robinson- Hackney
  • Olu Atobatele- Southwark
  • Paul Sammut- Tower Hamlets

Category 5 – Best work with supply chains and/ or small businesses to create new apprenticeships

  • Brent
  • Camden
  • Islington
  • Southwark

Each shortlisted nominee has three reserved spaces available per entry (including the nominee), for example Hackney can bring 6 people to the awards ceremony. In addition there will 2 spaces available for each shortlisted borough’s Chief Executive and Leader. Please let [email protected] know who you will be attending from your borough by Thursday 30 August. After this point the attendance list will be opened up to others who wish to come to the event.
