On 27 June 2016 London Councils hosted a member event on Regenerating London’s Estates: Sharing the Learning. As part of this event, London Councils called on boroughs to submit case studies of estate regeneration that had taken place in their area. The aim of these case studies was to provide information on challenging aspects of estate regeneration and explore what strategies different boroughs are employing to successfully carry out large and small scale regeneration schemes locally.
Six boroughs submitted case studies which examine a range of estate regeneration issues such as site identification, funding and community consultation. The cases studies go on to discuss lessons learned during the process and potential challenges and opportunities for future estate regeneration. You can download the case studies below:
