This report provides information about Foundation66: Alcohol Recovery Project (ARP) funded by London Councils to provide a service under commission 44: Day centre and drop in facilities for homeless people and people at risk of homelessness.
That members agree
- to reduce grant payments to ARP in 2012/13 from £223,961 to £156,8630 (a reduction of £67,098) to reflect the reduction in service levels in the London boroughs of Barnet; Bexley; Bromley; Greenwich; Haringey; Merton; Sutton and Tower Hamlets with the agreement of the service provider.
That members note that:
- London Councils shared the report with ARP and the proposed reduction of grant. ARP has proposed a reduction of £33,288 and that a final adjustment be considered at the end of the commission.
- Grants Committee is recommended to agree a reduction of £67,098 as proposed by officers as the lesser amount now suggested by ARP is based on a notional figure set in 2008 that has not been agreed or delivered. The Committee may wish to review this matter again if further representations are received.
