Private rented housing supply in London

London Councils and Trust for London commissioned new research from Savills into London’s private rented sector.

This report assesses whether there has been a sustained reduction in the size of the Private Rented Sector (PRS) in London and tracks changes in affordability of PRS properties for low-income households. The work focuses on determining the extent to which rental properties have been sold into the home ownership market or to landlords operating in the PRS.
