Notify2 Update(2)

We are now in the 5th day of the notify testing period which is to run from the 23 November – 9^th January 2012, which is a period of 4 business weeks.

Below you will find a borough upload schedule outlining the dates for this weeks uploads (w/c 28/11/11). 

Since the borough uploads commenced on Wednesday 23 November we identified an issue which resulted in the system timing out part way through the data import process. Data loaders may have suspected or been aware of this as a screen appeared partway through the import process stating "The website cannot display the page".

For those users who view notifications and complete tagging requests these should now be available to review on notify2 as all files which never uploaded correctly on 23, 24 and 25/11/11 have now been reloaded. Work has been undertaken by the system developers to resolve the issue and files should now process without the ‘time out’ error occurring.

While the notify2 system is being tested please ensure your data files are also uploaded to the original NOTIFY system (https://pzkxb399.co.uk) as this will enable us: 

1. To manually transfer and upload your boroughs data if a similar issue occurs with notify2

2. notifications and tagging requests will always remain up-to-date on the original NOTIFY system 

3. We will be able to correlate the information on both systems to identify that information is appearing and being disseminated correctly
