LED bicycle lanes in Copenhagen

This short video shows how Copenhagen is introducing a new lighting system to help reduce the risk of right turn collisions between cars and cyclists. The lights are visible to motorists in their side mirror and when they shoulder check for cyclists. The lights are activated through a sensor in the asphalt that is triggered by a bicycle.
