COMMERCE has delivered a strategic approach to the promotion of mobility plans in the cities of London, Paris, Budapest, Bucharest, Kaunas and Plovdiv. It was part funded by the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme for the duration 2007-10, although the associated Mobility Plan programmes are designed to last on a long-term basis.

COMMERCE achievements

Workplace Travel Plans are a powerful tool for organisations to help reduce congestion, increase staff health, reduce operating costs and contribute to meeting national and EU Co2 emissions targets. COMMERCE has increased the number and improved the quality of WTPs by delivering:

  • A platform with Travel Plan Best Practice
  • Travel Plan Training
  • Travel Plan Awards
  • Travel Plan Forums
