Other features include a new project to put the views of older people further up the policy agenda; the historic London City Charter and its priorities for joint-working across the capital; managing risks to community safety through multi-agency public protection arrangements; and how boroughs are working with criminal justice agencies to reduce re-offending.
The online version of the magazine also includes bonus features on the benefits and challenges of delivering community festivals this summer; Cllr Mike Fisher, leader of Croydon and Mayor Steve Bullock of Lewisham discuss their boroughs’ models of governance; and the revolution in personalised care taking place through direct payments and individual budgets.
