Transport

Train and bikes at a station

About our work

Transport runs through all areas of London Councils’ work, and is a constant for us in terms of the services we provide as much as the policy we formulate.

We provide a range of direct services for Londoners on behalf of the boroughs, including Freedom Pass, Taxicard, the London Lorry Control Scheme and the Health Emergency Badge.

Key areas where London Councils develops policy include:

  • Rail
  • Aviation
  • Electric vehicles
  • Cycling and walking
  • Transport safety
  • Parking, highways and traffic
  • Transport Services
