London Councils' response to the Formula Grant Consultation October 2010
This response sets out the views of London Councils on the Local Government Finance Formula Grant Distribution consultation paper, published on 28 July 2010. It calls for the Government to reduce funding instability by applying the maximum level of floor damping over the next settlement period, and to refrain from introducing methodology changes until its review of local government finance is complete.
