The myhealthlondon Opens in a new window web-based service aims to provide healthcare professionals and patients with opportunities to engage with each other, compare services and standards, and to carry out healthcare transactions on-line.
As well as details about local healthcare services, the myhealthlondon website aims to give the public access to the GP Outcome Standards for London, which provide information on agreed standards of care all patients should receive from general practice. The website allows users to see how their own GP practice compares with others in the capital on important aspects of care for a range of conditions including diabetes, cancer, asthma and dementia, as well as feedback from patients about things such as how easy it is to get an appointment and satisfaction with the overall care patients receive.
The initiative is a partnership between the NHS, the Mayor of London and is supported by London Councils.
