London Health and Wellbeing Challenge Events
This series of one day events take the form of an accelerated simulation event. Each event will represent 6 months in the life of a Health and Wellbeing Board and scenarios will be set in 2013/14 and based on likely structures and functions as outlined in the NHS and Social Care reform agenda, including NHSCB and PHE.
These events will provide a safe environment for partners to explore partnership working across the system and to test how some of the more difficult decisions and challenges will be managed.

Putting the Pieces Together - A seminar for Directors of Adult Social Services - 20th January
On 20th January 2012, the JIP organised a seminar for Directors of Adult Social Services to explore current and planned thinking around mental health services and plan thinking about the challenges facing mental health services across London. Both Geraldine Strathdee (Associate Medical Director for Mental Health for London and the Specialist Clinical Adviser on Mental Health to the Care Quality Commission).and Wendy Wallace (Chief Executive of Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust) spoke at the session in which Directors shared their understanding of the impact of the current health and social care reforms and changing role of social work in mental health.
