The apprenticeship journey

London Councils and Capital Ambition held an Apprenticeships Conference on 11th January 2010 with an excellent turnout of 80 delegates.

The event concentrated, in the morning, on non-traditional recruitment routes for apprentices and, in the afternoon, on how to keep them motivated, learning and in the workforce. Well attended interactive discussion groups were also held ranging from action planning for National Apprenticeship Week to discussing how to persuade Schools to employ apprentices.
