The Legacy Trust bid for London

 The Legacy Trust UK has received an endowment of £40 million from the Big Lottery Fund, the Arts Council and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.

£2.89 has been secured from the Legacy Trust UK for The Big Dance in London. Building on the success of previous festivals in 2006 and 2008, the Big Dance in London will work with a range of partners to developing the programmes across the whole of London.

London Councils sits on the London Advisory Group to represent the views of the boroughs in the development of the London project. Other members of the Group include Arts Council England London, MLA London, Sport England London, the Mayor's office, the Chair of the London Cultural Consortium and the Regional Health Authority.
