About our work

London Councils works with the boroughs to help them build safer and stronger communities.

We aim to ensure that the interests of Londoners, and their councils, are fully recognised in the development of community safety policies, and in the allocation of funding.

Our policy team works on a range of issues including, policing accountability, violence against women and girls, anti-social behaviour, anti-violence and reducing re-offending.

The team also plays a key role in ensuring London is fully prepared for terrorist attacks or other major emergencies in London.
