Youth crime prevention

London Councils Children and Young People’s team undertake a range of activity to support London local authorities in their work to reduce bullying and the violent behaviour of some pupils who make others feel unsafe to go to school. 

They also work on reducing absences through early intervention and supporting families and thirdly, enforcing attendance where preventative measures fail.
