Responding to the National Funding Formula consultation

The Department of Education has launched a consultation on the National Funding Formula. Responses to the consultation must be submitted online by 22 March 2017.

The Department are seeking responses from govenors, headteachers, Local authority representatives, multi-academy trust members, parents, pupils, sector organisation representatives, school business managers/bursars, teachers, and other educational professionsals.

The online consultation seeks responses to specific technical questions about schools funding formula. The questions asked in the consultation can be found here. Interested parties can choose to respond to the consultation directly, but it is also helpful to make your views the national funding formula known to your MP. You can find your local MP here.

London Councils will be publishing its draft response to the consultation by 22nd March.
