A year of progress on shared aspirations for a healthier London

London Health Board partners have published Better Health for London: One Year On - celebrating progress on London's blueprint towards becoming a healthier city.

A year after the publication of Professor Lord Ara Darzi's London Health Commission report Better Health for London, the new report show how - individually and through collaboration - partners in the NHS, local government and more widely are driving action to improve the health and wellbeing of Londoners.

The 10 shared aspirations agreed in Better Health for London- Next Steps Plan are providing both a challenge and an impetus across the capital.

There is still much to do - as Public Health England's animation of the State of Health in London (link to YouTube) shows.  But the report describes the growing momentum in London to secure real improvements in outcomes for those who live, work and play in the capital.
