Item 4 - Governance Overview (P25/3)

Tony Gaughan (Deloitte) will present to the committee the current proposal on the Fund Operator governance arrangements and will give an overview of each board and committee, including roles, responsibilities and membership. The ACS Operator is a regulated entity with significant oversight provided by the FCA, and thus a high level of reassurance about the quality and robustness of the systems, processes and people.

Governance is an important issue for which the Operator must demonstrate that it is appropriately governing those regulated activities for which it is authorised. Governance arrangements must be effective and auditable, showing clearly that even for those activities that are delegated the board is held accountable.
