The 32 boroughs and the City of London, the regional cultural agencies (Arts Council England London, MLA London and Sport England London), London Councils and Capital Ambition are working together to improve cultural services in London.
Culture makes an important contribution to Londoners' quality of life and has tremendous potential to contribute to wider local government priorities. The cultural sector needs to maximise the impact of cultural services and take advantage of the opportunities afforded by changes in Government's assessment regime by:
- Improving performance
- Building a comprehensive evidence base and establishing baseline data
- Advocating the 'case for culture'.
