London Councils provides this network to give Heads of HR in the London boroughs an opportunity to share ideas and information. The network also discusses national and regional issues.
Objectives
Note that the Public Sector People Managers' Association (ppma) also provides networking and developmental opportunities for HR practitioners in London local government and the wider public sector. Whilst it is entirely separate from the London Councils networks, there is a significant cross over in membership between the Heads of HR and the ppma London region.
