Shortlist for 10th anniversary Ludlow homelessness awards announced

Six projects working with homeless people are in line to win a share of £26,000 as the shortlist for the 10th anniversary Andy Ludlow Homelessness awards is released today by London Councils.

Amongst the six shortlisted projects are an initiative to provide behavioural therapy for homeless people; a charity helping the homeless regain their self esteem through opera music, and an organisation providing sport for disadvantaged people.

The Andy Ludlow Awards recognise projects that improve services to homeless people, prevent homelessness, or tackle disadvantage caused by homelessness.

The annual awards are open to registered social landlords, housing and social service departments, NHS trusts and voluntary organisations in London. The winner will receive £10,000, with £5,000 going to each of the three runners-up and a further £500 going to remaining shortlisted projects.
