Local democracy and the NHS combine to improve London’s healthcare services 

Councils took a dramatic step in reducing London's healthcare inequalities today by announcing that change needs to happen to improve the quality, safety and accessibility of healthcare in the capital.

The announcement is due to be made at the London Councils Healthcare for London Conference. Where councils, the Mayor's office, and voluntary organisations will discuss the proposed changes to NHS services, as laid out in the NHS London's consultation 'A Framework for Action'.
