Our work

London Councils seeks to influence the government and others on issues of importance to the boroughs, and to London. We commission research and develop policy to support our lobbying campaigns, which often involve making the case for changes to proposed legislation. We also promote private legislation to win more powers for our member councils, and to help them deliver the best possible services.

We are also currently working with all policy divisions to monitor and influence Bills progressing through Parliament over London wide issues.
