Service Transformation – Lets Get’s Radical 12 March– 6 - 8.30pm, Central London
John Seddon, a leader in lean systems thinking, will be presenting his ideas at this event, delivered in partnership with Capital Ambition and London Councils, on 12 March 2008 at the Law Society. Aimed at those involved in policy, procurement and Business Process Improvement, this event will provide further information on the regional and national picture and allow delegates to shape future work. Up-skilling the workforce - 27 March - City Hall
An event to show how employers can achieve significant organisational benefits by providing workplace Skills for Life training programmes for their employees, and to share what it takes to make these programmes work well. It will also celebrate the hard work and achievements of all the London authorities who have taken part in a 5 year London Development Agency-funded Skills for Life support programme.
London Scrutiny Event - 28 February - L. B. Hounslow Civic Centre
Borough colleagues are hosting a number of scrutiny events funded by Capital Ambition. The next one is “Raising the Profile of Scrutiny through Budget Scrutiny”.
Agency Staff Managed Services Forum – 22 February 9.30-2pm, Central London
A forum to discuss issues around the use of agency staff in London – taking a look at possible savings, number of agency workers, issues around suppliers, the challenges of managing an agency workforce and a host of other aspects of agency staff contracts.
