Street League

Street League engages with some of the capital's most disadvantaged and excluded individuals in a structured 'sport for development programme'. Linking a structured football and fitness programme with Directions 2 Work - an educational programme that uses the theme of sport to progress individuals towards education, employment and independence - Street League taps into the
power of sport to transform the lives of people most at risk of homelessness. With training sessions and courses delivered at inspirational settings, such as the David Beckham Academy or Arsenal FC, the Street League model has proved
successful in delivering more than 70 per cent of its sporting participants onto its Directions 2 Work courses, with the same percentage completing.
