Commissioning monitoring arrangements

London Councils monitors the progress of all its funded groups and projects. This is to ensure that the expected outcomes are being achieved as planned and that service delivery across boroughs is in-line with funding agreements.

As a funded group you are required to complete and submit annual and six-monthly returns. Annual returns usually cover the 12 months from April to March. Six-monthly returns cover the period from April to September. Effectively you are asked to report on your service delivery in the April - September period twice: once through the six-monthly form, and again as part of the annual return.

In the first year of funding, in order to bring all commissioned groups into the same reporting cycle, you may be asked to complete an annual return form covering a shorter period.

The deadlines for the submission of annual and six-monthly returns are approximately six weeks after the end of the reporting periods. If you have any queries on the monitoring process please contact your Grants Officer.
