ESF Programme
London Councils European Social fund Co-Financing Programme
Through the London Councils European Social Fund Co-financing programme, London Councils has just awarded £7,385,981 million over 2 years to 33 organisations.
Our programme supports the London ESF priority to improve employability and skills in the Capital with specific focus on providing greater employment opportunities to excluded individuals in the community. Projects we fund equip individuals with the personal and occupational skills they needs to access and compete effectively in the labour market.
The funding programme addresses gaps in London funding, delivering programmes to meet the needs of target groups who are not currently reached through existing external programmes and runs from April 2008 - March 2010.
London Councils is working with thirteen London boroughs to put together an additional ESF funding programme adding value to the existing programme to be delivered from January 2009 to March 2011 worth approximately £9 million. Further information will be available shortly.
The following pages provide details on the groups supported by the fund and the services they provide the Capital. The ESF programme funding round is currently closed.
