Working on behalf of London's boroughs, London Councils distributes £26 million funding to the voluntary sector in London each year. The London Councils 2007-11 commissioning programme currently funds 360 organisations delivering 59 priority services to Londoners.
You can find out more about our current funding programme and the organisations commissioned to deliver services to London on our dedicated how the funding process works section of this site.
We have just finished a consulation on the future priorities for our funding and will be reporting back with our findings soon.
The vision for this programme is;
"Londoners enabled to live better and healthier lives, enjoying economic, housing educational and cultural opportunities in a safer and more sustainable environment; through improved services delivered by the voluntary sector working in partnership with London's local authorities".
