Welcome to Passholder News – issue 2

4 January 2010

This is the second edition of Passholder news - hopefully the previous one was informative and gave you some insight as to what to do to get your new Freedom Pass. You have received this newsletter because you signed up via our Freedom Pass website. We will email you periodically to keep you up-to-date with when and how to renew your Freedom Pass.

Renew now if your surname starts with the letter A to E

If your surname falls within A-E you should renew your Freedom Pass at the Post Office between now until the 16 January 2010.  Download an application form from our website or pick one up at a Post Office to apply.

You can find your nearest Post Office at the Royal Mail website

Go to the renewal pages on the Freedom Pass website to read about the photograph requirements and the proof of identity you'll need to take to the Post Office along with your completed application form.

If you live in the borough of Camden, Barking and Dagenham or Sutton you will have been contacted by your local council with information on how to apply. If you haven't heard anything, contact your local council directly on the numbers below:

Barking and Dagenham – 020 8227 2334

Camden – 020 7974 6435

Sutton – 020 8770 4537

If you are an existing Freedom Pass holder hold on to your current pass until your new one arrives in the post. Your old pass does not expire until 31 March 2010, so you can continue to use this to travel till you receive your new pass.
