This free*one day conference for London borough councillors and senior officers focuses on the issues facing the capital’s councils over the next four years.
The Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, was the keynote speaker. A panel of experts drawn from across the public service spectrum discussed the challenges for public services in the forthcoming years and afternoon breakouts examined the practical implications.
The conference concluded with political networking meetings for each of the parties represented on London Councils (Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat).
