London Councils Summit

The annual London Councils Summit conference will be held on Saturday 17 November.

Held at a prestigious central London location, the Summit attracts hundreds of councillors of all political parties from the 32 London boroughs and the City of London as well as representatives from the business, public and voluntary sectors.

Innovations at this year's Summit will maximise the opportunities for learning and networking with new features including:

  • interactive workshops led by experts giving delegates the opportunity to discuss ideas and solutions to key problems
  • 'micro-surgeries' where councillors and relevant exhibitors can book time to discuss their local borough problems
  • high profile speakers and breakout sessions providing an in-depth look at the key issues affecting councillors and local government in the capital.

In the near future we’ll be inviting members to submit innovative ideas on local issues, examples of successful local work, or pose questions for debate based on the themes covered by this year’s Summit.  More information on this will follow.

Who should attend:   This event is FREE for all London councillors and senior borough officers. A limited number of places are available for non-councillors/borough officers but will be charged at £160 (+VAT) per person. Contact emma.stewart@londoncouncils.gov.uk if this applies to you.
