THIS EVENT IS BY INVITATION ONLY

The launch of a new report into the provision of adult social care in London.

“Responding to increased financial pressures in adult social care" is a report by London Councils supported by Ernst and Young exploring:

•  the impact of increasing demographic pressures and decreasing resources on the future costs of providing care in London

•  the options that London boroughs could consider for coping with increasing demand within the context of increased financial pressures

•  the indicative savings from these options and the potential funding gap that faces local government in the delivery and commissioning of care.

Although local authorities have statutory responsibilities for social care, the report also sets out recommendations for the Government and the NHS that would improve adult social care.

If you have any queries regarding the event, please contact Anastasia.Mulenga@londoncouncils.gov.uk (020 7934 9809)
