Grants Commissioning Priorities

This report sets out commissioning priorities for initiatives to reduce crime and the impact of violent crimewithin the London Councils grants programme for the period from April 2007 onwards.

The priorities set out in this report have been agreed by the Executive Member for Crime and Public Protection, following consultation with the Crime and Public Protection Forum. 

In summary, the proposed package is comprised of:

• funding for crime reduction services;
• funding to reduce impact of violent crime;
• provision for priority and emerging needs.

Agreement to this set of priorities will complete the overall package of London Councils Commissioning priorities.
