Item 3 - Parking Penalties and Removal charges during the Olympic and Paralympic Games

Summary

London Councils has run a consultation on the level of penalties and related charges for parking and moving traffic offences during the 2012 Games. This report presents the findings and analysis of the results, and suggests options for members with regard to levels of penalty and other charges during the Games.

Recommendations

Members are recommended to:

• Note the contents of this report
• Agree to the schedule of roads at Appendix A to enable the previously-agreed penalty to apply on the ORN
• Discuss and agree any changes to current additional parking charges for Games-time which they would like to put forward to the Mayor for approval.
