Item 7 - MOU with Transport for London

Summary

A working group was set up to look at improving relationships with TfL. This group drafted a MoU to be agreed at Commissioner / TEC level. Following discussion at TEC in December 2008, the MoU has been amended as suggested and agreed at officer level by London Councils and TfL. It now needs to be agreed by TEC, at which point it can be agreed by the Commissioner of TfL

Recommendations

The Committee is asked to:

• Note the amendments to the MoU
• Agree that the MoU be formally put to the meeting between Peter Hendy and TEC Elected Members in February 2009 for joint agreement
• Agree to reconvene the working group in six months’ time to review the success, reporting back to TEC and TfL
