The course will act as a stepping stone to the CIPS Level 2 course for those seeking further training. The project team has worked with LondonMet Enterprises Ltd to customise the existing CIPS level 2 module on Sustainable Procurement specifically for Local Authorities. All 33 London Boroughs and the 5 members of the GLA Group have now taken up the offer of free places for this one day course. Candidate feedback has been extremely positive, saying that “it offers real value and benefit. The course provided knowledge and understanding of sustainable procurement”.

The Action Sustainability study identified training needs specific to sustainable procurement. As a result we're offering an introductory e-learning course and places on the CIPS level 2 course.
