Tribal Productivity review street cleansing & recycling services
Developing and sharing best practice is a major plank of Capital Ambition's activity. To this aim Tribal have completed a commission to review productivity in recycling and street cleansing services. The output of the reviews are two separate toolkits that can be used for self-appraisal and suggested next steps.
Interviews were held with recycling and street cleansing heads of service to explore their approach to efficiency and develop a set of good practice service ‘blueprints’. By aggregating the common threads of high performing authorities, service blueprints provide a view of top performing authority characteristics, that are provided in context to the local environment. Within the wider researched street cleansing review, comparator metrics have also been developed to provide authorities with an actual cost comparison for providing key elements of the service.
