Purpose: To establish an Outline Strategic Framework for construction for London into which existing best practice content could be subsequently included or developed as necessary.
This project sought to ensure that the London authorities have access to best practice framework contracts for the procurement of large and minor construction works. The project worked with the South East RIEPs to include London authorities in the renewal of its construction framework contract for large works.
The project also worked with Transport for London to include London authorities on a new framework for minor works and refurbishment.
To support this work the following were commissioned:
- a Strategic Model for London; and
- a review of construction framework contacts available to London authorities
