All London boroughs have registered on the CRS, with details of well over 8,500 contracts uploaded and available for viewing across the region.  

The service is very easy to use and has in-built data standards which support the active exchange of common information across all English local authorities. The CRS supports the local government procurement classification (ProClass Opens in a new window) and standard contract definitions. There is also a format for entering suppliers to help improve data entry quality.

Getting started could not be easier. A public version of the site went live in May 2008.

The CRS has an active User Group which encourages continuous improvement and active participation from all London and Essex public sector organisations.
